"The County"

Leelanau County is home to several villages, Northport, Suttons Bay, Leland, and Glen Arbor.  There is Leelanau State Park almost to the tip of the county and Sleeping Bear National Park at the base of the county at Glen Arbor.

There is always Traverse City if you feel the need to go to a mall or fast food but you will not find either one in "The County".
